Desktop App Installation Errors

It's not uncommon to encounter issues that might prevent the installation process from completing successfully. To help resolve these problems, we’ve outlined some effective troubleshooting techniques that can get you back on track.

1. Close MightyCall app in the system tray and make sure all MightyCall processes are terminated. Delete the 2 following folders:

  • %AppData%/MightyCall

  • %LocalAppData%/MightyCall

To find those folders, press the Start button + R, and enter: %appdata% in the run window and hit the Enter key:

Then enter %localappdata% in the Run window and hit Enter:

Find the MightyCall folder in both of those windows, and delete it.

If your OS tells you that the file can’t be deleted because it's still in use, please open up the device's Task Manager and terminate all instances of MightyCall there and in the Start Up tab.

2. Restart your Windows device.

3. Reinstall the MightyCall app from here.

In some cases, it may be necessary to set the MightyCall application (%LocalAppData%/MightyCall/most recent app version) to run as Administrator and set Compatibility to Windows 7 or 8 (try both).
