How to allow access to my microphone?

MightyCall webphone requires access to your microphone to make and accept calls. If you want to allow access to your microphone every time console.mightycall.com tries to use it, and you don’t want to be asked again, you should set the privacy settings in order to grant access to your microphone.

For Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and go to the MightyCall Call Center login page.
  2. Log in with your MightyCall account email & password.
  3. Click on the icon next to the web address in the browser string.

  4. In the menu that appears, look for Microphone and toggle it on.

  5. If you don't see it right away, click Site permissions, then find Microphone in the Permissions menu and toggle it to Allow.

  6. If prompted, refresh the page for the changes to take effect.

For Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to the MightyCall Call Center login page.
  2. Log in with your MightyCall account email & password.
  3. Click on the lock icon next to the web address in the browser string.

  4. In the menu that appears, look for Microphone and toggle it on.

  5. If you don't see it right away, click Permissions for this site, then find Microphone in the menu and toggle it to Allow.

  6. If prompted, refresh the page for the changes to take effect.

For Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and go to the MightyCall Call Center login page.
  2. Click on the burger menu icon in the top right corner of the browser and select Settings.
  3. Click Privacy & Security from the left menu.
  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section and click on the Settings... button for the Microphone option.

  5. Toggle the status for https://console.mightycall.com to Allow and click the Save Changes button.

  6. If prompted, refresh the page for the changes to take effect.

For Safari

Method 1:

  1. Open Safari and go to the MightyCall Call Center login page.
  2. Click on the page settings icon located on the left side of the address bar. From the dropdown menu, click on Website Settings…

  3. In the Website Settings pop-up, find the following options and set them accordingly:
    • Pop-up Windows → Allow
    • Microphone→ Allow
  4. Once you make the changes, they are saved automatically. You may need to refresh the page for changes to take effect.

Method 2:

  1. Open Safari. In the top menu bar, click on Safari → Settings (or Preferences on older versions).
  2. In the Settings window, click on the Websites tab. In the left sidebar, scroll and select Microphone.
  3. Find the website console.mightycall.com to enable Microphone and click the dropdown button next to it. Choose Allow from the options. 
     
     
    Note: Make sure to allow access to When visiting other websites.
  4. Go to enable Notifications and click the dropdown button next to it. Choose "Allow" from the options. 
     
    Note: Make sure to allow access to Allow websites to ask for permission to send notifications.
  5. Go to enable Pop-up Windows and click the dropdown button next to it. Choose Allow from the options. 


    Note: Make sure to allow access to when visiting other websites.
  6. Once you make the changes, they are saved automatically. You may need to refresh the page for changes to take effect.
